Huge congratulations to our Year Thirteens on achieving very impressive public exam results this morning, for A' Levels and equivalent Level 3 BTecs and TQUK Diploma Design, Engineer Construct! qualification.  We have some great causes for celebration this morning!

Despite 100% of students facing the challenges of literacy and developmental language related special educational needs, you have achieved a fantastic 88% pass rate, with 71% of certificates being awarded at grades A* to C or the equivalent BTec Distinction* to Merit.  This represents a 19% increase on last year's results!

100% of BTec candidates passed their courses, and 88% of A' Level courses secured passes - impressive when taking into account that 82% of candidates are the subjects of Education, Health and Care plans (EHCPs), representing a high level of complexity in terms of Special Educational Needs.

Overall at More House, 20% of A' Level and BTec results were awarded at the highest grades of A* and A, or Distinction* and Distinction (10% increase from 2024).  42% of our BTec certificates were awarded at this level (24% improvement on 2024) and 12% of A' Level certificates (5% increase on last year).  An incredible 88% of Level 3 BTEC results were at Distinction* to Merit (equivalent to A* to C at A' Level, and a huge 48% increase on last year)!

Many of our Sixth Form leavers are heading to university, studying courses as diverse as Animation, Architectural Design, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Film Production, Fine Art, Geography, International Business, Mathematics, Photojournalism, Wildlife Ecology and Conservation.  They have accepted offers from a breadth of universities, including the University of Oxford and Trinity Laban Music Conservatoire.  Other students are progressing to apprenticeships or have exciting gap-year plans before they continue their educational journeys.
