Pupils visit their intergenerational Pen Pals
Pupils made a trip to Tilford Care and Nursing Home to finally meet their intergenerational Pen Pals.
The Intergenerational Pen Pal project, headed up by literacy tutor Karen Wane, is an initiative which has been running for five years at More House, helping pupils to develop their letter writing skills whilst giving them a purpose for their writing.
The boys involved were excited to finally meet their pen pals face to face and demonstrated a Skittles game they had designed in Technology as well as spending time playing a variety of board games with residents.
A good time was had by all and the visit also made it into the Farnham Herald.
