Uniform list
Pupils' school uniform reflects the four school houses:
Cobbett, Hawthorn, Knight and Sturt.
Junior boys' polo-shirts display the house-colour surrounding the embroidered school emblem. For pupils in Year Seven and above, their tie reflects their allocated house, including for Sixth Formers on formal school occasions.
Years 4 to 6 inclusive
- Blue MHS polo-shirt with embroidered school crest (surrounded by house-colour circle)
- Charcoal-grey or black trousers
- Black or dark-grey socks
- School uniform coat
- Smart, conventional black-leather, formal shoes (not training shoes; e.g. Nike Air shoes are not permitted)
- Navy blue V neck jumper with embroidered school crest (optional)
- Navy-blue blazer, single-breasted with silver buttons (optional)
Years 7 to 11 inclusive
- Navy blue V-neck jumper with embroidered school crest
- White formal shirt and school house-tie (coloured stripes dependent upon allocated house)
- Charcoal-grey or black trousers
- Black or dark-grey socks
- School uniform dark-blue coat
- Smart, conventional black-leather, formal shoes (not training shoes; e.g. Nike Air shoes are not permitted)
- Navy-blue blazer, single-breasted with silver buttons
Sixth Form
‘Normal’ School Days: A shirt with collar and/or a smart top that is not conspicuously branded; smart trousers; dark-coloured shoes.
Formal Occasions: Lounge suit with shirt and school house-tie (coloured stripes dependent upon allocated house), and polished leather shoes.
Prohibited: Blue jeans, combat trousers or tracksuit bottoms (unless for a sporting event); brightly coloured trainers, sandals, branded hooded-tops; vests or tee-shirts (unless underneath a shirt); clothing printed with a sports team name or offensive slogans; excessive jewellery or make-up.

The recommended appointment window for More House is:
11th July until 15th July.
Please, where possible, book during this window. This helps Stevensons to maximise school specific stock and reduce the time taken to serve you.
Orders should ideally be placed by Sunday 31st July, to ensure in stock items can be delivered for the start of the autumn term.

School House Ties
These can be purchased from Stevensons at a cost of £7.50 we also hold a small stock in the school office. If you would like a new or replacement tie from us, please email schooloffice@morehouseschool.co.uk with your order and pay either using the £ symbol at the top of the page or by telephoning the Bursary.
The Friends sell Second Hand Uniform from a unit located directly behind Main House, and which is open on the first Friday of every month from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Please email More2ndhanduniform@gmail.com with any queries.
