MHS Pupils’ Glory at ISA National Athletics Finals
Yohan (U15) and Jack (U13) sprinted their way into the ISA National Athletics Finals after stand-out performances at the London West qualifiers on 4th June. Both boys secured first place in their respective 100m races, earning them the honour of representing our ISA London West region’s 112 schools at the Finals.
At the ISA Finals, held on 15th June at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium, the boys delivered phenomenal performances under pressure. Yohan stormed to victory in the U15 100m, clocking a breath-taking 11.72 seconds and claiming his title as National Champion. Jack’s incredible energy and grit earned him third place in the U13 100m—a tremendous feat on such a competitive stage.
Both boys also helped their relay teams to success. Jack sealed 2nd place for the U12s with a brilliant finish and Yohan’s U15 team surged to 1st place, with him powering through the final leg.
For two More House pupils to earn their place in the final from almost 800 independent schools nationwide is a remarkable achievement. But for these pupils who already overcome unique learning challenges every day, their triumphs speak volumes about their resilience and drive.
We are beyond proud of Yohan and Jack. They have not only brought home medals, they are an inspiration to their friends and peers at More House and a shining example of what is possible when passion meets perseverance. Congratulations to you both!
